Unique service
Friesland Holland Travel only offers vacation packages that have been developed and tested by the organization itself. These are unique packages, with quick assistance to cyclists in case of breakdown en route and extensive documentation about Friesland.
Guarantee Scheme
To comply with the legally required guarantee, Friesland Holland Travel uses STO Garant, a guarantee scheme recognized by the Authority Consumer and Market (ACM). The luggage service
Luggage service is included in the price of a cycling vacation. Friesland Holland Travel transports your bags from hotel to hotel between 09:00 and 18:00. So you can feel free to visit places to eat and drink and places of interest. The luggage to be transported must be ready at the reception at 09.00 for transport to the next hotel. The delivery time may be extended due to exceptional circumstances. The driver will only take luggage with a Friesland Holland label. If you take the luggage yourself, for example because you are going home early and do not want to wait for the suitcases, or have to break off the trip due to circumstances, please notify Friesland Holland Travel. Your suitcase (max. 15 kg.) must be of stackable quality. Friesland Holland Travel cannot be held liable for any damage to your luggage. Friesland Holland is only responsible for the luggage from the moment of picking it up at a hotel until its delivery at the reception of the next hotel. Important: on the last day of the package, suitcases can be delivered to the final hotel until 6pm. Please keep this in mind when planning that day, we as a tour operator have no insight into the delivery of suitcases in terms of times.
Roadside assistance with mobility guarantee
Included in the price of every Friesland Holland Travel bicycle package is breakdown assistance with mobility guarantee. With this unique service you are assured of replacement transportation (luxury bicycle) in the province of Friesland, with the exception of the islands, if you have a breakdown or accident en route with your own bicycle or with a rental bicycle and it cannot be repaired on site or in the workshop of a nearby bicycle shop within an hour. You will then be loaned a replacement electric bicycle with many gears and bags free of charge for the duration of your vacation and/or you will be taken to the final destination of the day by the Friesland Holland Assistance vehicle free of charge. The driver of the Friesland Holland Assistance vehicle will normally bring your own defective bicycle to the starting hotel, but can, upon special request and in consultation with the assistance driver, bring your own defective bicycle to a bicycle repair shop near the lodging address for repair. Of course, the cost of repairing your own bike will be at your expense. In any case, you can always continue your journey with Friesland Holland Assistance. The service is provided from late March to early October, 7 days of the week. Tip: If you are going to ride the Eleven Cities Tour with your own bike, we recommend that you also have anti-puncture tires fitted, for example Marathon E-Plus with multiple puncture protection layers (level 7).
