Once the booking has reached us, we will send you an email confirmation. We work with STO Garant, this is the third party account, where the travel sum is guaranteed for you until the entire trip is paid. After we have confirmed the booking to you by email, you will receive an email from STO Garant containing a payment link. Within 1 week after booking you have to pay 15% of the travel sum. Once we have received your confirmation, we will make all the arrangements for your trip. Within 6 weeks before departure you must make the 85% final payment (you will also receive a link
from STO Garant). As soon as we have received the remaining payment, the entire travel sum is paid and you will receive all travel documents at home.

Yes, you can cancel your trip free of charge up to 6 weeks before departure. The 15% deposit will then be refunded to your account by STO Garant. Within 6 weeks before departure the following cancellation conditions apply:

  • Cancellation between 1 and 7 days within 6 weeks before the arrival date confirmed by Friesland Holland Travel on the invoice: 15% of the booking amount.
  • Cancellation between 5 and 2 weeks before the arrival date confirmed on the invoice by Friesland Holland Travel: 50% of the booking amount.
  • Cancellation within 2 weeks before the arrival date confirmed on the invoice by Friesland Holland Travel: 75% of the booking amount.
  • Cancellation within 5 days before the arrival date confirmed on the invoice by Friesland Holland Travel: 100% of the booking amount.

Cancellation on and after the arrival date confirmed by Friesland Holland Travel on the invoice: the entire booking amount.

No, we do not offer travel and cancellation insurance, we can highly recommend that you purchase it from your own insurance company before you start your cycling trip.

The package prices listed are per person based on two people staying in a room. The surcharge for 1 person in a room is 50% over the package price. This surcharge applies only to hotels and not, for example, to bicycle rental.

Many packages include luggage service in the price, but there are also packages where this is not the case. You can find this information in the price overview of the package itself. In the price overview you can see what is included and excluded in the package.

Yes that is possible, but only by phone due to availability. You will receive the invoice via email and you can pay it the same day. You can pick up your information package at the reception of the hotel, or at our office in Wolvega.

The information package will be sent to your home six weeks (after full payment). If you want to leave at short notice, we may have the information package ready for you at your starting hotel. You can pick up the package at the reception desk. It is also possible that the package needs to be picked up at our office.

If you cycle the Eleven Cities Tour, we will provide you with the detailed itinerary. This will also include the cycling junctions that the official Elfstedenroute follows. These junctions are listed in an overview that you can easily put into your navigation system. Please note: as mentioned above, the bicycle junctions we have worked out follow the official Cyclingelfstedentocht route. You can view these nodes for each stage and adjust the route to your wishes at any time. You can download a GPS track from route.nl. You can use this track with a navigation system or your phone. When you book online, you will receive an email immediately after your booking containing what you have booked, check it carefully, this is also the confirmation.

In that case, check your e-mail’s SPAM folder. It happens that relevant e-mails do not end up in your Inbox, but in your SPAM folder (especially with Gmail). Therefore, after a booking, check your SPAM folder as well.

With most packages, day 1 is not your first day of cycling, so you can ride to your starting address at your leisure. You can often enter the room here from 3 p.m. but of course you can explore the area before then. So in most cases you will start your cycling tour on day 2. Note that the last day is often still a cycling day. You can find this information in the daily program of the package. P.S. If you also rent bikes with your package, they will only be delivered on the first cycling day.
