The Ferry Route from day to day
After booking, you will receive personalised travel information for each day. In any case, on the first day, you will be expected at your hotel by 12 noon, where, if you come by car, you will park your car during your cycling holiday. You won’t be able to check in at that time, but you will be able to collect your rental bikes and start on one of the loop routes to a couple of Eleven Cities. You leave your luggage in the car, the hand luggage you take with you on the bike which is equipped with two nice waterproof panniers. After checking in (between 15:00 and 19:00) and moving into your room(s), you will enjoy your first evening dinner in the restaurant on day 1, the day of arrival. Well rested and informed, you will start your second day of cycling the next day after breakfast according to your personal itinerary. This day also ends with an excellent evening meal. On the last day, day 3, the day you return home in the afternoon or evening, you cycle the last loop after breakfast. You will have access to the rental bikes until 6pm. You must double lock the bikes in the designated storage area. They are expensive bikes! You will hand in the keys at reception and that will be the end of this fun package. Tip 1: If you don’t want to return home after day 3 and still want to fully enjoy the beautiful National Landscape Gaasterland and the IJsselmeer coast, you can book an extra night (in advance) with Friesland Holland Travel Service. Tip 2: Based on the guest information, your personal itinerary, already make a choice at home of sights and scenic attractions to visit.
